OCTOPUS DIVERS diving base located in a magical corner of the world: on the tropical island of Koh Lanta. Koh Lanta is one of the largest islands in Thailand, located in the very south of the country, less than 200 km from the border with Malaysia, on the coast of the Andaman Sea. The island of Koh Lanta was voted the fifth most beautiful island in the world in a poll. You are only 7 degrees north of the equator!
The island is diverse in topography and coastline. In the north of the island, the beaches are flat and sandy, wide and safe for children. The further south, the beaches are more stony and even have rocky cliffs.
All this creates a diverse climate of the island, where parents with children look for safe places such as Klong Dao or Long Beach, and those who love romantic views on rocks or cliffs can find such places just as easily.
Diving on Koh Lanta is diving in paradise. It’s a fact. Only from Koh Lanta you can take a day trip to Koh Haa for diving, or dive in HinDaeng/HinMuang , the undoubted pearl in the crown of the Andaman Sea is a diving paradise.
Koh Haa delights not only with its beautiful fairy-tale scenery, underwater architecture creating caves, chimneys, flows, all immersed in soft coral carpets, but also with the wealth of marine life – from little things like Pipefish, harlequin shrimp, sea snails to giant whale sharks.
Hin Daeng / Hin Muang are places that may not be as spectacular in terms of scenery as Koh Haa, but they are rich in rare corals and frequented by huge manta rays.
In addition to water sports, many other activities await tourists on Koh Lanta. You can choose yoga, Thai boxing, trekking or horse riding. For the less active, there are massage parlors, beauty salons, local craft shops, even a movie theater!
It is impossible to be bored on Koh Lanta!
